A very wet Toft

Yesterdays rain has closed the road out of Toft towards Bourn, and Brookside flooded. The wettest winter we've had for a while.

RAF Barnham Nuclear Store

Fascinating visit to the Cold War Nuclear Store Facility that was part of RAF Barnham. It was used to store and test the nuclear warheads and explosives for the Blue Danube bomb. It is now an industrial estate but the Nuclear Storage Area is undergoing conservation by the owners and English Heritage. Excellent and interesting visit
